Residential construction interior with custom finishes

General Contractor · Southern California

Built for the whole property.

Focused residential construction through whole-property transformations—kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, exteriors, and coordinated work under one general contractor.

Construction at the scale of the property

Beyond Natural Build handles residential construction ranging from focused improvements to larger coordinated transformations. Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, roofing, and exterior systems can stand on their own or become part of a broader project. When multiple parts of a property are changing, the work can be planned, sequenced, and executed under one general contractor.

Specialty work · Flooring

How a project runs

Organized construction: review the property, develop scope, plan, coordinate, build, and close out.

  1. Step 1

    Property / project review

Walk the property, understand what has to change, and identify constraints before commitments are made.

  2. Step 2

    Scope development

Define the work clearly—whether one focused scope or interiors, exteriors, and systems that need to be sequenced together.

  3. Step 3

    Planning + pricing

Establish a constructible plan, material and trade requirements, and a pricing path that matches the actual scope.

  4. Step 4

    Coordination

Design coordination, permit coordination, and trade sequencing as the project requires—before the site turns chaotic.

  5. Step 5

    Construction

Execute the work with licensed general contracting, field discipline, and a single point of project control.

  6. Step 6

    Completion / closeout

Punch list, final walkthrough, and a finished property that can be lived in and maintained.

The company

Beyond Natural Build is a Southern California general construction practice built for residential work at the scale of the property.

The company is founded by Nolan J. Moore, a California licensed General Contractor who began working in construction as a teenager and has spent more than two decades in the field, in project execution, and in the business of building.

That background—trades, job sites, operations, and property—is why the company is structured to handle both focused residential work and coordinated projects that span multiple trades, rooms, systems, or exterior scopes. Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, roofing, and specialty work remain core capabilities; larger transformations simply let those capabilities operate together under one plan.

The subject is the construction. Nolan’s experience is the reason the work is structured this way.

How we work

  • Licensed general contracting

California licensed General Contractor with more than two decades of construction experience behind the company—not a referral page dressed as a builder.

  • One project, not a pile of trades

Scope, sequencing, and execution stay together so interiors, exteriors, and systems do not fight each other on site.

  • Design-aware construction

Finish quality, constructability, and how the house will actually be used inform the plan before demolition starts.

  • Disciplined follow-through

Project details stay organized from first walkthrough through closeout—so the work does not dissolve into scattered messages.

Frequently asked questions

Licensing, project type, and how a consultation is handled.

What kind of projects does Beyond Natural Build take on?+

Residential construction from focused kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, roofing, and exterior work through whole-home renovations and coordinated property transformations. Small scopes can also grow into larger projects.

Are you a licensed general contractor?+

Yes. Beyond Natural Build is operated by a California licensed General Contractor. We coordinate and execute residential construction—we do not claim architectural or engineering licensure.

Do you only do bathrooms and kitchens?+

No. Bathrooms and kitchens are core residential work—and not the limit of it. The same general-contracting practice can carry a focused remodel or a larger coordinated transformation.

How does a project consultation work?+

Submit a short project request with the property, the scope you have in mind, and timing. We review the details and follow up to discuss approach, sequencing, and next steps.

Do you handle permits?+

Permit requirements depend on scope and jurisdiction. When a project requires it, we coordinate permit and design work with the appropriate licensed professionals—we do not present that coordination as architectural or engineering practice.

Where do you work?+

San Diego County, Orange County, and greater Los Angeles. Share the property address or ZIP on your request and we'll confirm coverage.
